TileBox is built around one idea: a great word puzzle only takes a few minutes, but a good one is worth returning to daily. Each mode tests a different kind of word sense — recall for Daily Word, pattern recognition for Unscramble, vocabulary depth for Word Connect, and visual scanning for Word Search — so switching between them keeps the challenge fresh without demanding much time.
Daily Word
Guess the 5-letter word in 6 tries. Green means right letter, right spot. Amber means right letter, wrong spot.
How to play Daily Word
Every visitor to TileBox gets the same secret word each day, picked from a curated list and locked to the calendar date so nobody can reroll for an easier one. Type a full-length guess and press enter (or tap the on-screen keyboard) to see which letters are correct, present elsewhere, or absent. You get six guesses, two hints, and one streak to protect.
Unscramble
Tap the scrambled letters in order to spell the hidden word.
How to play Unscramble
A real word has had its letters shuffled — your job is to put them back in order. Build your answer by tapping letters from the pool below the slots; tap a placed letter to send it back. Stuck? Hints reveal one correct letter at a time, at the cost of a little XP.
Word Connect
Spell as many words as you can from this letter set.
How to play Word Connect
Every puzzle gives you one set of letters that hides a dozen or more real words inside it. Tap letters in the wheel to spell a word, then submit — each new word fills a blank in the list on the right. Hints reveal the first letter of the shortest word you haven't found yet.

Click or drag across letters to trace each hidden word.
How to play Word Search
Hidden words run in any of eight directions — across, down, or diagonally, forwards or backwards. Press and drag from the first letter of a word to its last letter to select the whole run; a correct selection locks in and crosses the word off the list.
